Solar Heating Tubes Can Heat Your Home
The world of real estate rental is Challenging at the best of times. As we all know, there are only two ways to keep yourself ahead in the real estate game. The first is to increase your profits, which often entails increasing the rent; the other is to lower your expenses. In this competitive market, increasing your tenants’ rent can end up being an oversight, causing your tenants to go elsewhere. The market being what it is, it would be easy for them to find properties that have reduced rental rates. Consequently, if you want to stay ahead, the best way to do so is by cutting your expenses. Solar heating tubes are inexpensive and simple to install, and will reduce your heating expenses substantially.
Regardless of who your tenants are, whether you own an apartment building, an industrial building, commercial, or any other sort of building, your tenants will use hot water. Providing hot water for your building is probably one of your largest expenses. If you want to reduce your expenses this is a very good starting point. Installing solar heating tubes will help you reduce heating costs by heating some of your building’s water for free using just the sun’s rays. Unlike solar panels, solar heating tubes will operate whatever the weather so you can keep on saving money all year round.
Solar heating tubes are basically cylinders that absorb and store the suns energy. So much of the tubes’ surface is exposed to the sun, and for such a long time, that they are more effective than conventional solar panels. As a result solar energy has become a serious option in those locations where it would not have been very useful or cost effective before.
Heat from the sun is absorbed by the tubes and stored in an inner tube of liquid. That fluid super-heats to 170 degrees Fahrenheit and is then introduced to your heating system. Put simply, this means that the sun’s heat is used to warm your building’s water. Solar heating tubes also present you with an additional way to reduce heating costs; by using that heated water to heat your entire building.
Whether or not you understand the details of how they work, what is important is that solar heating tubes will help you reduce heating costs. This will give you an edge in a tough market. With climate change experts calling for companies and individuals to switch from carbon based fossil fuels to renewable forms of energy, you should seriously consider investing in solar heating rods to reduce your heating costs and increase your profit margin. Look into government programs that may defer some of the expense associated with installing solar heating rods and other environmentally friendly sources of energy production.
Of all of the benefits outfitting your building with solar heating tubes, conceivably the best benefit to installing solar heating tubes to your building comes from the satisfaction your tenants have knowing you are doing what you can to lower costs for yourself and for them. Should you be advertising for new tenants you might also find that your cost cutting measures have given you a great deal of appeal with an ever increasing number of potential environmentally conscious tenants.

Solar Heating Tubes: The Other Green Energy
In today’s economic and political environment, intelligent landlords are seeking new ways to adhere to government and tenant demands. Getting hold of more environment friendly ways to supply energy to your buildings presents a challenge.
You will no doubt have heard about the many benefits of wind energy, but permit me to introduce you to solar heating tubes: the other green energy source. There is no better, or more untapped, source of green energy than the sun. Every day, 365 days per year The sun gives us energy in the form of light and heat all year long. However most of the energy it supplies goes to waste, while instead we burn carbon fuels, which are quickly being depleted, becoming more expensive and pollute the atmosphere. The situation will only get worse for those who continue to depend on fossil fuels, and it’s time to switch to using green energy, while the governments of many states and countries are offering to subsidize the costs.
Using solar heating tubes to produce green energy delivers many advantages, both to landlords and tenants. Even if solar energy is only used to heat the buildings water the savings can be fantastic, depending on how much warm water the building uses. Naturally, different types of building will use vastly different quantities of warm water, but very few buildings use no hot water at all, whether it is for tenants taking showers, doing their laundry, washing dishes, or using warm water for general cleaning purposes. Lots of buildings also use central heating systems, using coils of hot water beneath the flooring to heat the whole building. If your buildings are heated in this way, you will be able to save a lot of money by reducing the amount of oil, gas or electricity you use to heat your buildings.
Solar heating tubes employ the latest green technology to make optimal use of the sun’s rays. The solar heating tubes can be positioned in such a way that they can absorb the sun’s energy during all daylight hours, as they have a larger surface area than conventional solar panels, which only produce power when the sun is shining directly onto their flat surface. The energy collected is then kept inside copper rods inside of a vacuum sealed tube, providing perfect insulation and allowing hardly any of the energy to escape. The tubes are so well insulated that the surface of the tubes can be relatively cool while the temperature of the rods storing the solar power can reach over three hundred degrees Fahrenheit. The combination of these two design elements enables property owners to use solar power in climates where it was once though to be impractical, like those with much cloudy weather and colder climates. If you are a landlord in New York solar energy is now within your grasp.
This is one green technology that you are going to want to make use of. Installing solar heating tubes won’t just reduce your carbon footprint and protect the o-zone, it saves you a lot of money in the long run. When you put those two things together, it’s very hard to ignore the benefits of installing solar heating tubes.

Solar Power Is Not Just The Alternative Anymore
The suns energy or the solar energy is the most abundant form of energy available on earth. The sun is not limited to just providing us with sunlight and heat. The sun has been one of the biggest factors dictating every living beings stay on the earth. If we go the right path, we can harness more from the solar energy, like generating power for daily use.
So why solar power?
Although it may be common knowledge that solar power is that the top of the alternative energy solutions, it should be addressed that solar energy just doesn’t have to be an alternative, it can also be THE energy solution.
Green energy solution:
When you look at the solar energy solution, you will realize that it uses absolutely no fuel other than the suns light. There is no byproduct created from solar energy which means that there are no harmful substances or any unknown substances that gets placed in the our atmosphere.
Solar power has the ability to be stored:
You cannot store conventional power but you can store solar power for future use. Storing it also ensures a 24×7 supply of power, thus saving you from any power outage.
Practically maintenance free:
Solar energy systems dont need much attention and are easy to maintain.
So, how can solar energy be used?
Solar power can be used to power many specific things. Even if we were to add solar power to these needs, well be doing our part on being Green for our planet.
When people think about cooking, they usually think of fire or some sort of electric grill. However, you should know that you can use solar power as a cooking system. Solar cooking doesnt change the taste of the food. You can cook just like how you usually cook with any other grill, only difference is that you are using solar energy! The only difference is that it may take just a few more minutes to cook your food. The food is just as tasty and even more healthier! In addition, youll be saving money on your gas and electricity.
This is the traditional way we think of solar energy, the kind that lights up your house at night. The solar lighting system lights up your house even in the nights, thanks to the power storage feature it has. Many people have used how to create solar power power guides to help create solar lighting systems for their personal uses.
You can keep your house cozy and warm using the solar heating system without worrying about costs.
First, the energy comes free. Then, the installation cost is a one-time cost, the investment is recovered within a few years of installation, making the power generated by solar energy absolutely free.
You can even reduce the costs of installation by learning how to create solar energy. Deciding to build your own solar energy system would make it cheaper to have solar energy in your household.

Solar Power History Goes Back To Ancient Civilizations
Most people think that the use of the sun’s power goes back to only the collection panels we use today to charge our battery operated systems. Solar power history goes back to 400 BC.
Ancient civilizations used the sun to heat their dwellings and grow their plants, as Native Americans, Greeks, and Romans went about their daily lives. Romans thought of the idea involving the capturing of sun through glass to make more pronounced use of it.
The Romans took it a step further than heating for their homes and made crude greenhouses in which to collect the sun to grow plants and vegetables more quickly. It extended their growing season and gave them larger crops.
The Native Americans and Greeks used the sun to heat their homes first. Their homes were built along the hillsides and used earth contact to maintain the heat. The homes were faced into the sun to collect the heat, then the warm air would leave the home and a new warmth would enter the dwelling in the new day.
Although Greece and America are thousands of miles and oceans away from each other, the sun’s power was such an obvious resource to them that they both recognized it in the period when they both began to build communities.
That was the extent of the use of the sun for several hundred more years. In the late 1700′s a man named Horace de Saussare designed a device that collects sunlight. The collector cone gathered the sun to boil ammonia. The result was refrigerant. Scientists were enthralled with this new idea all the way throughout the 1800′s.
The steam engine was the next major development in solar power history. The engine that was invented used expensive and difficult equipment, so it did not last long. Scientists continued to search and came up with a cell for collection that is similar to what we use today. That was in the late 19th century.
